As I was painting this I couldn't get the darn Cheesecake Shop jingle out of my head. If you're Aussie, you'll probably know the one I mean...
So yeah, Elanor from Dreamless in the style of 1940s pinup artist Gil Elvgren. Just for fun, cause I'd never do a pinup of my own characters

Old pinup art is really interesting. The girls are always beaming, going about their business (in less clothes than normal) or looking completely surprised to have been caught with their legs bare. They also have great shoes.
Very classy as far as modern male titillation goes!
The shading though? Amazing. And it's a fun idea.
Eh? Oh, and I love everything about this too. Did you do it on a canvas? It looks like you might have. Either way, I'm insanely jealous of you mad skillz.
What? Oh yeah, The art's pritty too, I guess. Did you do this on actual canvas, or is that a texture thing on whatever program you're useing? Either way, I like how your colours and shading on the girl are rich and creamy, even with the black dress, which contrasts well with the watered down and cold colour of the background.
And that is my two cents worth. Goodnight.
Lurvely work, I love the detail on her face
... i live here, yet i don't know the jingle. Oh well.
This is fantastic, once again. Its really nicely smoothed out.
and I love the green.
