My original concept for this image had a spirit (a fae-like ethereal creature) at the top, but in the end I scrapped that in favour of putting Jonas' dead wife there instead. Either way, non-corporeal things do rather like him :3

About 9 - 10 hours, Photoshop CS3.

Amazing work and amazing characters, so complex and troubled it's really quite intriguing. I absolutely love the series, I've actually become an addict overnight lol I read the whole comic up to the current page in less then two hours! IT WAS SOOOOO GOOOOD!!! Just the right balance of drama, sadness, loss, romance, torment, and comedy! You have really made a lot of fans happy so thank you very much for the inspiring work :D

I'll start this off by just saying I really enjoy this piece. The mood is so clear and the colors so beautiful. I only make a comment on this one to address Jonas. There is something funking going on between his lower and upper halves. They don't look like they connect correctly but covering them up and looking at them separate, they look very nice.

It might just be the pull on his vest, thing, under his jacket that's throwing me off. I cover that up and it looks much better. It seems to be going off at its own angle like its caught or something. Please look into it.

Would be sweet if you softened the spirits more. XD

I think this piece is very creative with the demon things and spirits compositions. They flow wonderfully.

Defiantly a favorite of mine in your selection of work.
