wow...

That is... a bit of an insult, y'know? In colouring alone, she's made a loooot of improvements. I'm not saying that the old stuff is bad (it's far better than anything I can do!), I'm just saying that she's a lot better now.

Which is a good thing.

I think her old stuff is good...O_o...I think she's a bit harsh on it--I can see why you think I was insulting her, but I didn't mean it! ^///^ I had more of a comment to post but I had some problems with DA yesterday, so I got fed up and just posted the short and condensed version. :blush: *guess that's what I get for being lazy* (Is ashamed.)

I meant to say that I thought she was being harsh on herself because it's way better than anything I can do...I thought the coloring looked fine, but being an amateur that knows zip-a-dee-do-dah about such things I guess I might sound like an ass. =(

I'm not very good at distinguishing the good from the bad...I thought the old stuff looked good too. :o

So just to clear up, I didn't mean any harm! My insult was unintended and I'm sorry. ^^; *I didn't think anyone read my comments* :blushes:

Oh, I figured that it was unintended - I just couldn't resist replying.

I guess I just get bored sometimes and read through comments on pictures - someone usually says SOMETHING amusing.

I think being harsh about past work is something that all artists have. I know I sure love to mock my old stuff (which is mostly incredibly atrocious and a lot of it has been posted on this site >.>; )

I keep all my old pictures in a bag, then when my younger siblings feel bad about their own art, I take it out and I show them my own pictures to cheer them up. *I am NOT a very good artist* :blushes: (I also keep all their old pictures that they give me, so that I can bring them out and show them that they HAVE improved.)

I've got some really poor ones that haunt me, but I keep them as reminders. :laughing: ^^;
